Hi, and welcome to my web pages, my name is George, music has played a big part in my life, the pleasure that I have derived from listening to great artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Junior, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, Kenny Rogers, Don Gibson, Don Williams, Nancy Griffith, Shirley Bassey, Elvis Presley,  Jerry Lee Lewis, Billy Fury, Brook Benton, Boxcar Willie, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Dottie West, Celine Dion, Jim Reeves, Daniel O'Donnell, Cliff Richard, Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, Al Martino, Matt Monro, Nat King Cole, The Cream, Eddie Cochran, Mario Lanza, Luciano Pavarotti and of course the Great Composers, the likes of Chopin, Borodin, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Mozart, Bizet, Handel and Bach.

 The list goes on and on. Whether  it is Classical or Rock - Country or Blues.  I have decided to make a series of web pages consisting of a small part of my music collection.

The collection consists of Vinyl, Cassettes and Compact Disc. This is going to take me quite some time because, while not being a gigantic collection it is not exactly minute.

Much of the music is easy on the hearing and there is no, as far as I am aware, (what I term as head banging music). I prefer the type of music that has lyrics you can understand and has no vulgar expletives in them.

Right, I will get off my soap box and get down to putting these pages together. I know that these pages may not appeal to everyone but even if I get one or two who can relate to the music and the times, then I will have achieved my aim.

As I mentioned earlier this site is just to share my music collection with others, each page has a table that contains 50 CD titles with links to the content of those CD's and also a link to an image of the CD cover. Through time I am hoping to include the CD serial number so that those who may find an urge to locate the CD in their local music store or via the web and purchase it.

 I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have visited this site.
